Recovering your accountMinuteBoard is a very informal comment/discussion system and we keep no personal data linking a user to their real identity. So at this point your cell phone number is the only way we have to identify you. If you lose access to your account (for example you get a new phone and new number), there is no way for us to recover your account. You will need to create a new account with your new phone number.
Contacting MinuteBoardThe only way to contact MinuteBoard is via the MinuteBoard forum itself (above). This allows everyone to benefit from your questions and the answers, either from us or from other MinuteBoard users.
I can't find somethingYes search is still in its infancy here. It will get better.
Can I use my login on different MinuteBoards?Yes, when you're logged into one, you're logged into them all.
Are my comments private?Extremely private. Here comes more detail than you probably wanted. We use state-of-the-art cryptographic methods to store a hash of your phone number but not the actual phone number. So there's no chance we'll sell it or give it to anyone else because we simply don't have it and there is no way to trace your comments back to you.
We also don't store any IP address or other information about you, just the nickname you've chosen which of course doesn't need to bear any resemblance to your actual name.
As we note above, the downside of all the anonymity is that if you lose access to your account, we have no way to verify that you are the rightful owner and thus no way to recover it for you. We'll eventually probably provide some way to update your phone number but for now, if you lose access to your account, you'll need to create a new one.
